By providing opportunities to engage with the local community, creating a means for mariners to vent regarding the negative experiences they have faced, and being a clearing house of resources to aid in the numerous challenges faced by going to sea — we hope to be a corner stone in supporting the Merchant Marine community through all mental, social, and financial challenges they may face. Thus leading to a stronger merchant service and healthier mariners.

We work to remove the stigma from the idea of mental health in the Merchant industry. It is a fact of working in the job, and the more we can do to address it as something understandable and manageable the better we will be as an industry and a family.
